Company History
Douglas Cryderman started the company in 1975, with offices in his home and a 1,000 square-foot warehouse nearby. Today, Douglas Electric and its 50 employees fill an 8,000 square-foot office and warehouse facility in Wyandotte.
Customers have long viewed Doug Cryderman as synonymous with integrity, and it’s the #1 value instilled throughout the company to this day. Now a board member for the company, Doug’s known for reminding the team that a handshake is a commitment.
Doug’s daughter, Paige Levy, took the helm in 1999. In what employees and customers call a seamless transition, Paige continues to build Douglas Electric in her father’s image. She’s highly regarded for her intellect, leadership, energy, humor, and respect of others.
With high-quality, personal service, Douglas Electric has supported general contractors, corporations, governmental entities, and organizations throughout Michigan and the Midwest for more than 30 years.
We make sure customers get what they expect plus a little more. If we say were going to do something, we do it. At Douglas Electric, our handshake means something, even in the 21st century.
