5. Essential Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site uses only technologies needed for security, form delivery, fonts, content delivery, and ordinary site operation. For example, the Site’s hosting and security infrastructure may set an essential security cookie, and the Site may use local browser storage to remember that you dismissed its essential-cookie notice.
Douglas Electric does not use analytics cookies, advertising pixels, session-replay tools, or marketing technologies to acquire and use your personal browsing data.
You may configure your browser to block or delete cookies or local storage. Blocking essential technologies may affect some Site functions. - the duration and administration of resulting work;
- legitimate business-record needs;
- contractual, insurance, accounting, or legal obligations;
- security and fraud-prevention needs; and
- the existence of a dispute, claim, or legal hold.
When information is no longer reasonably needed, we delete or anonymize it when reasonably practicable. Residual copies may remain temporarily in routine backups or archives until they are overwritten or deleted in the ordinary course.

We will respond as reasonably practicable and as required by applicable law. We may deny or limit a request when we cannot reasonably verify it or when retention is reasonably necessary for a project, contract, legal obligation, security purpose, dispute, or other legitimate business need. If an authorized agent submits a request for you, we may ask for reasonable proof of that authority.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
